Terms and Conditions

 

Check in

Check in time is 2pm however every effort will be made to accommodate earlier check in (if arranged in advance).

Check out

Check out time is 10am. Please tell us in advance if you require a later checkout and we will do our best to accommodate this request.

Door code/Access

For our guests convenience smart locks have been installed. This allows the doors to be unlocked and accessed through your smart phone application. Details will be provided prior to your check in. Alternatively, a door code will be provided upon check in.

Occupants.

No parties are permitted within the property or on the premises.

Only the specified guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A violation of this rule will result in immediate removal of all guests (and any visitors) from the property without refund.

Internet

The guests agree to use internet network only for legal purposes and they will not use it for illegal uploading, downloading or other illegal activities.

Internet code will be provided in the information booklet on site.

Smoking

Smoking/vape is completely forbidden inside the guest house.

Smoking is permitted outside the apartment, please use ashtrays provided.

Smoke detectors have been fitted and a fee may be imposed for additional cleaning if there is evidence of any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after the guest checks out.

Safety

Please do not use candles or flammables other than the cooking facilities provided for heating cooking or the like.

Valuables, security & storage

Although we will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.  We will take not responsibility for lost items so please ensure the door is locked and closed when you leave.

Parking

There is one car space allocated per unit. There is free on street parking available for additional cars.

 

Toilets

No cigarette butts, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.

Noise.

All care will be taken to ensure you have a quiet and peaceful stay.

Please avoid making excessive noise or disturbing others in surrounding properties and limit noise between 10pm and 8am outside the building.

Kitchen

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and limited dishes, glasses and utensils for light meal preparation. Please clean up after use.

The Barbeque must be left in clean condition or an additional $50 charge will apply.

All items in the kitchen have been counted and any items removed from the premises will be charged to the guest.

Linen

Please be respectful of bedsheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linen/towels. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Should any damage occur or un-salvageable linen/bath towels will be charged accordingly.

For stays one week or longer-

Fresh towels will be provided every 3 – 4 days and bed linen will be changed every 7 days if requested.

Clean up

At the sole discretion of the host an additional cleaning fee from $90 can be charged if addition clean-up is required that goes above standard cleaning.

Please ensure rubbish is removed from the unit and use only the bins allocated to your unit as specified. You will notice there are general waste bins and recycle bins provided.

Pet policy

No pets are permitted.

Your liabilities

We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your act or omission default, accident or neglect. By booking with us you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused by you. Normal wear and tear excluded.

We shall not be liable to Guest or invitees or any other person, for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the Premises. The Guest shall indemnify from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the Property and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Guests, or invitees.

 

General

Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. Dragging chairs/tables will leave scratches on the floors.

We cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guest house from fulfilling its obligation to the guests however we will take necessary steps to minimise disruption and discomfort under these circumstances.

  • Unanticipated interruption of electricity, water, sewerage to and from the guest house.
  • Fire, frost, flooding, wind or any other major event.

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the Property.

Cancellation

 

Should you wish to cancel your stay with us for any reason, please contact our office in writing to advise the circumstances including dates you wish to change or cancel. If you are cancelling 7 days or more before your stay, you may be refunded with a deduction of cancellation fee of $100.

 

If the guest cancels less than 7 days before check-in, the first night plus 50% of all nights after that may be deducted and the balance refunded. There will be no refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the expected arrival date.

 

Environment

We are dedicated to protecting our planets resources and would like to encourage our guests to help us by

  • Switching off lights and heating/air conditioners when not being used.
  • Ensuring taps are always turned off after use.
  • Avoiding the unnecessary use of towels – just use what you need.
  • Sort the recyclable rubbish collected from your room.

Don’t travel if you’ve recently been exposed to or have symptoms of COVID-19

To protect the health and safety of our community, it is our policy that all people who may be present at the property before or during a stay should not enter the property, check in or interact with other guests, if any of the following are true:

  • You are actively infected or have tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 days
  • You suspect you are sick or have been exposed and are awaiting test results to confirm or deny a diagnosis of COVID-19
  • You are showing symptoms or are concerned about possible infection of COVID-19
  • You’ve had close, sustained contact with an individual confirmed or suspected to be infected with COVID-19, within the last 14 days*
